NCHEC | HUD Training | FAQs| Schedule

NeighborWorks America, through the NeighborWorks Center for Homeownership Education and Counseling (NCHEC), and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) are working together to provide training opportunities to all HUD-approved housing counseling agencies. The NCHEC/HUD Training Program provides scholarship opportunities to staff of HUD-approved housing counseling agencies.

Through the NCHEC/HUD Training Program, tuition scholarships are available to attend the NeighborWorks Training Institutes (NTIs) and NCHEC/HUD-sponsored regional place-based trainings (PBTs).   A limited number of lodging and travel stipends are also available.

    • Each agency may receive up to ONE scholarship during a given year (subject to demand and availability, additional scholarships may be available).
