Changes in the Wind -- Manufactured Housing and the Future of Affordable Housing
Wednesday, February 21• Atlanta

Pre-event registration is closed. Onsite registration begins Sunday, February 18 at 3 p.m. at the Hilton Atlanta.

Two thirds of new affordable housing stock is manufactured and although these units are far from mobile, barely a third is titled as Real Estate.

As more and more Americans choose manufactured housing, advocates and industry analysts are taking a closer look at a broad range of sector issues including the quality of housing stock, equal access to mortgage financing, new ownership models, and opportunities for asset appreciation.

What's changed and what's changing in this complex yet critical section of the affordable housing market?

Come join us for Changes in the Wind -- Manufactured Housing and the Future of Affordable Housing - a one-day symposium, which is part of the NeighborWorks Training Institute in Atlanta. The symposium, co-presented by the NeighborWorks Rural Initiative and CFED's I'M HOME, promises to be a lively interchange of ideas and cutting edge practice as advocates, policy makers, and developers mark progress in the overhaul of this critical housing sector.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE? A broad specturm of nonprofit developers, consumer advocates, policy makers, bankers, real estate professionals, mnicipal and regional planners, philanthropists, residents of manufactured housing, representatives from the manufactured housing industry, and trade associations

The symposium fee is $145 and includes all materials, plenaries, workshops, light continental breakfast, luncheon with featured speaker, and the NeighborWorks Training Institute networking reception that evening. Registration fee not included.
