This is a grant funded, term limited (minimum one year) position.
The Training Production Coordinator in the Training Division of NeighborWorks® America is a complex administrative position which provides assistance and support to Place Based Training activities. This is a limited-term position (minimum one year) associated with a special Foreclosure Training Initiative project.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Preparation of training courses and materials for national Place-Based training events and NeighborWorks® Training Institutes. • Maintain a database to track the production aspects of place-based training activity. • Works closely with Place Based Training Coordinators as well as the training coordination staff to ensure all required materials are produced and shipped to training locations in a timely manner timely. • Monitor inventory to ensure that supplemental materials as well as course materials are correctly and accurately produced. • Coordinate with the training coordination staff to ensure any curriculum updates or revisions are incorporated into materials produced for place based trainings. • In conjunction with the training coordination staff, assist in the management of clearinghouse of publications, including inventory, order fulfillment, customer service and new publication tracking and formatting. • Collect and processes course evaluations from place based trainings and provides a summary analysis based upon that feedback. • Maintains and updates the certification database for certification certificates issued in conjunction with place based trainings.
SECONDARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide administrative support to the Director and Homeownership Programs Manager, as needed. • Arrange logistics for place-based training activities, when needed.

Skills Required |

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, 2 years of nonprofit experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the following knowledge, abilities and skills: • Demonstrated ability to coordinate detailed tasks in a timely manner for projects and events with diverse staffs and exercise independent judgment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience in coordinating training events a plus. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite software, with strong Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel skills. • Ability to design and maintain effective record keeping systems. • Strong interpersonal/customer service skills for communication with internal staff and funders/partners from diverse backgrounds. • Ability to focus in an open work setting, with great attention to detail. • Ability to travel on approximately 5-9 trips per year from 5-10 days each trip, as required. • Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance. Fast-paced working environment, with extensive computer usage • Long hours are occasionally required, especially right before and during out-of-office training events and for other priority activities • Ability to lift boxed materials weighing up to 20 pounds. • Travel 20%
